I work in an office with 4 other women. I am the only part time worker. We work in a doctor's office on production, and I do better than most of the full time girls. There is one woman,when she was hired, she would take my doctor's work when I was gone in the afternoons. She would let her own work get way behind because she was too busy taking mine. I had plenty of other work to do, and was the low person on the totem pole because I was "only part time". Now she is behind on everything because she bit off more than she can chew. My question is, why do women come into a job and try to take over and alienate the other women? She brown nosed the supervisor so she could get away with it.

I'm fine when I'm at work, but the weekends I just feel totally down, and now I have a week of work for Easter its going to be a nightmare, I'm not sure if its depression because as I say I feel 100% at work, maybe its because I haven't got any friends outside work (Well apart from my wife)

Sure I've tried to keep busy at the weekends by going shopping, going for walks etc but it doesn't do any good, I just feel fed up.

Since I got married I;ve lost my mates, they've moved away etc and we don't keep in touch, could it be lack of friends doing this.

Any ideas appreciated

I split wit the love of my life 6 months ago,we were really in love. She dumped me cus she thought i didnt trust her cus of a message she got,it was sent by my sis but i took the blame cus of family probs in r house. I near died wit a wee prob and my mum had a cancer scare. She was upset i didnt tell the truth. She went in2 depression wen we split. I wanted 2 tell her but she wudnt speak 2 me, she emailed me recently,shes wit a new guy,she told me she likes him but not in love yet,she still loves me and always will. She said she cant go bak 2 me cus she wont trust me after this but wants me as a friend. Wat do i do cus i really love her,id rather b died than live witout her, i know i can win her trust round,quite quickly,please help me guys. Ive 2 emil her bak any tips???? Ive found out her new fella is only 16 and shes a 20 year old uni student,r friends r disgusted in her and find it sick but i still love her.

i have recently found out that all my health problems could be being caused by throat cancer,my throat is in bad shape and i am going in to have a camera put down it to investigate it, its gona b scary. I am in big trouble and i want to speak 2 her 4 1 last try, i am afraid i mite never c her again if my health deteriates, any advice folks, this girl still loves me. I am trying 2 stay positive as is my family

I believe people only use selective memory when conjuring up memories of their childhood and growing up in the so called good old days. They pick their best memories and run with it forgetting all the problems of that time period. You can pick any decade that someone thinks as the good old days and point out all the problems then that make it no better than the present. Lets pick the fab 50's everyone is so fond of, the Klan was alive and well and black people were still being strung up on trees, much shorter life expectancy and primitave medical care by todays standards, a man could freely beat his wife and kids and it was his own buisiness, etc. etc. Teens very much got pregnant and either married young or where banished away like lepers, illegal unsafe abortions where common, Korean War, etc. etc.

Whenever evidence comes up that rejects canonical scientific beleifs, scientists push it under the rug. Things that go against the grain are branded "Psudosciences" and discredited without proof. It unscientific. Science is there to study and learn from evidence, not reject it. Science says there can be no way that an undiscovered primate could lurk in the woods, yet folklore has been seeing these things since the dawn of ure. Its all in mythology. s claim to have telekinetic abilities to influence physical objests. Scientists reject this, yet studys show that humans can influence what direction a ball falls with their thoughts. Even in Archeology things have been obscured. Gigantic bones have been found all over the world and in every mythology system, yet we reject it. Scientific techniques show the Sphinx was built somewhere around 7000 bc, but since this goes against canonical science, it doesnt exist. Scientists are very unscientific. Debate.

My little sis is 11. I am posting this for her, here is what she says (direct responses to her not me):

I am 11 years old and I have tried to tell my parents I don't believe in the Easter Bunny, Santa Claus, and the Tooth Fairy. I have to be subtle because my litle bro is 9 and he still believes, as do a lot of my friends.
They say stuff like "Why wouldn't you believe in (fill in the blank)? I believe in (fill in the blank)". I have tried addressing presents to them from "Santa", telling them straight out, and all kinds of things, and nothing works. They still pretend that they all exist, even when my little brother is not around. They know I won't tell secrets- so why won't they realize I don't believe in SC, the EB, and the TF?

Ok, the question is kinda obvious. I'm in my first-trimester and I am slightly over-weight. I've never been very active and I wondered what kind of exercise you guys suggest. I don't want to do anything TOO much TOO fast since I've not really been active for awhile, so if you could help by maybe sharing some good exercises you did while pregnant, or suggest a good website.
