V8 and tomato juice are pasturized, which kills off the nutritional value. Yes, you need fresh fruits and veggies for a well balanced diet-try some that you havent had before-you might be surprised how good they are. Try some ruttabega oven fries, swiss chard, artichoke, turnip, etc. You would be doing your health a favor if you purchased a juice extractor and made fresh V8, tomato, and other juice blends

Well, it's better than nothing.

But, there is more to nutrition than the major vitamins. There's micronutrients that the pills don't contain that food does. However, if you eat fruit you can get most of what you need from the plant family. Keep on with the juice and add some fresh fruit to your diet. That's actually what my son's pediatrician suggested when he wouldn't eat his veggies.

Then just watch your weight and you should be fine.

I don't think nuts give you enough fiber, but I could be wrong. I'm with Tom on this.

Tomato juice and V8 are also LOADED with sodium. Fresh veggies aren't.

Your multi-vitamins are a waste of money.

The reason you would want to include vegetables in your diet is for the fiber.
