Ok, the question is kinda obvious. I'm in my first-trimester and I am slightly over-weight. I've never been very active and I wondered what kind of exercise you guys suggest. I don't want to do anything TOO much TOO fast since I've not really been active for awhile, so if you could help by maybe sharing some good exercises you did while pregnant, or suggest a good website. Thanks for the help!

walking is probably one of the best exercises you could do - all the way to the very very end of your pregnancy.
i also enjoyed yoga and swimming when pg with my first they are both relaxing and beneficial to your body, and not to strenuous as well.

any thing that is high impact, running, horseback riding or any thing where there is a chance of falling is out of the question.

you definitely don't want to try to lose any weight. even tho you may already be a little over weight. walk. that is something that is easy and you can take it at your own pace. as long as you can still talk comfortably (without being too winded) then you're fine. don't do anything that heats you up too much (jogging etc). also swimming is a great exercise. it is a good all over muscle builder and it is easy on the joints. especially good later in the pregnancy when balance is off and mobility more limited. good luck! just eat healthy stuff and stay active.

They are starting to get a lot of exercise programs for pregnant woman. You local gym might offer some classes. But the best and cheapest way is to walk.

Yoga. Some stretches. You should take a class and maybe you'll make some new friends. It'd be really fun!
