My parents have received a letter from the above debt collectors, ordering them to pay a sum of money taken out with capital one. My parent are very old time and only have debit cards, therefore they obviously havent taken out this loan. Company said that a person with the same name and date of birth had taken out the loan but the address given was a place my parents hadnt visited. When they called the company to find out what it was all about the gentleman in the call centre was very abrupt and wanted a copy of there signature. He ended up putting the phone down as my parents were giving him as good as they got. can anyone advise me on what the best thing woukd be for them to do next. Thank you.

I just purchased windows xp to do a instal recovery. will the activation of the software interfere with the existing windows xp on there?. people told me to just use a windows xp cd to do this instal recovery, but this is a NEW non activated cd. Will i have some trouble?

My friend likes this guy okay? I kno and she knows that he likes me. Me and him were walking once and he told me he likes me and i told him i like him. We hang out alot now. I told my friends about him (even my best friend). I asked her if it was okay and she said it was. But i can see it in her eye and hear it in her voice that she is a bit upset. I dont wanna ruin our friendship, however i dont wanna ruin it with the guy i like. Is it okay? I mean she said its okay.... then why do i feel so bad?

I am the manager of a County facility that is paid for by the tax payers. One of my employees suggested that they were not getting paid for all they had worked and they would like me to investigate. I told her I would , and that any findings would be amended. (those in her favor or against it). So the next day Ifollowed up with my investigation checking the times clocked in and out, and compared them with the timesheets. After going through 6 months and making copies of all the paperwork I found she had actually been overpaid 14 hrs. when i confronted her about it she was extremly rude and then proceeded to call all of her friends about it and thell them how this job is a bunch of bull s***. I think the money should be taken out of her next paycheck.
Q: Should i take it out of her next paycheck?
Q: should i bring this up to my boss and tell her how rude and uncooperative she was? Thanks

And why do they promote the use of mercury filled energy saving light bulbs that are made in China where there is no EPA.

Seems they identify a problem then complain about the solution.

Just like the drug companies that they say won't find cures for illness because there is more money in treating the problem then solving it.

I have a 10 gallon tank, with 2 male guppies and 4 female. About a month ago 1 guppy gave birth then another, averaging about 40 guppies, well now all my gupiies are swiming down and they are twirling then after about 2 mintutes they die i can't figure out whats wrong? I only have about 10left and some of them are doing that same thing

my hair colour is strawberry blonde and 7 weeks ago i went brown(permanent). i then last week wanted to go back to my own colour or maybe a little lighter. A hairdresser i no who works in a good hairdresses came around to do it. she 'stripped it' and then couloured it my hair went bright orange,she done it again it went white and then again it went ginger!!!(at that point it was time for her to leave) i have lived with it for a week (under a cap!) today i bought a home permanent colour light blonde do you think its safe to apply to my hair(very very short hair) i had payed £45 to the hairdresser to mess it up and really dont have the money to re-do it. I do normal buy these blode days for my hair and they work fine but i have never gone brown then ginger before i apply one!!!
(at the moment i look light the amber on a traffic light.............

I'm 17. I'm 5'10 and 150 lbs.
I'm trying to lose some weight, but I never expected it to be this hard! I've only been on my diet for two days, but I'm exausted, feel terrible, and I'm constantly on the verge of tears.

Old diet:
Living off of fast food, enormous bars of chocolate, a bag of chips a day, Panda Express Chinese fast food....

New Diet:
Whatever I want to eat, but only non-processed food, like brown rice/pasta, fruits, veggies, fish, lean chicken, whole wheat bread. I eat until I'm full, with healthy snacks in between. One normal-sized chocolate bar a day.

Even though I'm creative with my diet, and I allow a treat a day, I feel like I'm dying. I constantly want to TASTE grease, intense flavor, the oily CRUNCH of Orange Chicken, or eat more chocolate and the salty smoothness of french fries.

And I'm only on my second day. I literally feel SICK.

How do people survive this? People make it sound so easy. Is there opium in junk food or something?
