I think women feel that it is not accepted by society to dominate a man. It is becoming more and more accepted, though, and when it does, I think you will see less women rejecting it.

Who doesn't want the entitlement and privileges that come with this? You can have your husband do all of the cooking and cleaning, give you long massages, and sex will finally be about you.

50 years ago, women couldn't vote. 30 years ago, it was a man's job to make big decisions for the household, even 10 years ago, it was a woman's job to serve her man. Now, women can vote, any good salesperson will tell you to focus on the woman when selling because she is the main decision maker, and now more and more men are serving their wives for a change. Men are learning what it means to "stand behind your woman."

One does not have to be foolish to reject or accept dominance in their lives, thus it is foolish to assume so..
There are different degrees of dominance in this world, and some positions require it,such as the business world, women are being more n more accepted as leaders in their fields, therefore society as a whole is more accepting fo the practice of women leadership..
On the other hand a woman dominating another woman in any other situation is just ludicris, unless a woman is portraying a male
role in that relationship, which is a preference by choice..

Female hormones allow women to be physically healthier and smarter in many ways.

Less of these hormones, as is becoming more normal these days causes them to be more nuetral than feminine.

Very little estrogen or too much testosterone can cause the urge to become openly and in a masculine manner-dominant.

Also abusive and stressful pasts can decrease estrogen as can physical illnesses

So can a desire to be accepted by a social cliche, get a certain job or pursue a certain ideal.

Usually its these three mentioned above that cause the desire to dominate in women.

I've got it but its really a pain in the but, its no good for a stay at home mother to be this way . I've been working to get back to my feminine roots that through stress, were to some degree stolen from me.

Oh and I almost forgot-bc pills decrease estrogen and progesterone so that if you stop them later you will have deficits.

:)

Females really do not seek dominance unless it is for survival. Females generally find ways to co-operate in ways that can eliminate competition and provide a safe environment in which their children can thrive. The word dominance suggests power over, and power over is really a male thing. Domination is, in my opinion a symptom of insecurity, and a weak ego. I do not understand why anyone would want to be dominant.

I reject any notion that has one gender dominating the other. It's better if they partner up than dominate each other. If they work together they're stonger.

Because I do not want to be dominated whether by men or women. Is that hard to understand?

We didn't like male dominance, so why should female dominance be any better?

I feel foolish that I took you seriously.

So excuse me while I get knocked up, take my shoes off and chain myself to the stove. Obviously any woman who does not want to take over the world isn't a feminist anyway.

Go away little male troll pretending to be a woman to undermine equality. Feminism don't believe in dominance they advocate equality, so you obviously don't have a clue what you are talking about.

Most women do not realize that females are the superior sex. For many centuries women have been in a closet raising kids, but once they are let out they change. So your friend still believes that a woman's roll is only to have babies. Fewer woman today are having babies and when they do only one or two, so they have more time in everyday life. So as in colleges to day where girls dominate, we expect to see female dominance increase in the future, as women are more out into the world.
