Should Sex offenders be sleeping under a bridge?

sex offender cannot live 1,500 feet from school or playground which evicts most of the them from thier homes who end up homeless and under bridges. Some say they wish to commit more crimes just to get back into Jail because at least the have shelter, food and clothing. What do you think?

My landlord has sent me a bill for heat we never asked him to supply in our rented home?

Suddenly this winter the kerosene guys delivered and filled our tank without us calling. At first we thought it was an accident becuase they left no bill. It happened a few more times and we then tried to figure out who was filling it. Our landlord tends to be absentee about anything and we general send off a rent check and pay everything else. Well all of the sudden he's sent us a bill for this kerosene to the tune of $1800. We were NEVER asked if we wanted him to do this and we NEVER agreed to any of this. We are tenants at will and have no lease or agreement stating that he can do this, in fact we've lived here for 8 years and he's never done this before. Also I'd like to add in that there was never a slip left and we're unsure of which kerosene company delivered as it was delivered when we weren't home. We live in the state of maine and i'm looking for a statute or law stating we DO NOT have to pay him. Any help? Thank a bunch!

When I see a ship going down I always wonder that. I don't know if they have gas or oil, like do they still have coal. I don't know much about ships.

Do you agree with the Democrats that Iran is responsible enough to have nuclear weapons?

Before you answer my question keep in mind, The president of Iran is a holocaust denier, Iran has called for the destruction of Israel a numerous amount of times, Iran is arming the Insurgents in Iraq so they can KILL American troops, and last the U.S. Navy has maintained a presence in the Persian Gulf for the last 2 decades for a couple of reasons-the most important reason being is that the U.S. Navy keeps the waters of the Persian Gulf peaceful so that Merchant ships can sail to their destination freely. If Iran gets Nuclear Weapons then we will have to pull our Navy ships out of the Gulf for fear of an Iranian Nuke strike that could kill thousands of sailors.

Can a bank require you to have TWO Appraisals when applying for a Home Equity Loan?

I'm quite frustrated at the process involved with trying to get a home equity loan. Last week an appraiser did a drive-by appraisal and the value came back just fine. NOW, they're requesting a second appraisal, this time a walk thru.... is this legit? Do I have to submit to this? Is this common?

Who is invited to the wedding rehearsal dinner?

I am the single parent of a son who is getting married. I know that I am responsible for paying for the rehearsal dinner but the bride wants it to become a party for all of their friends. She is inviting every body she knows. I don't mind paying for a few extra people but not for her entire family and friends.

Who is technically supposed to be invited to the dinner?

Also, is there anything else that I should be financially responsible for?

how successful is your son really?

Four men got together to play golf one sunny morning. As they were heading out to the course, one of them was detained by a phone call.

The other three were discussing their children while walking to the first tee.

"My son," said one proudly, "has made quite a name for himself in the home building industry. He began as a carpenter, but now owns his own design and construction firm. He's so successful, in fact in the last year he was able to give a good friend a brand new home as a gift."

The second man, not to be outdone, boasts how his son began his career as a car salesman, but now owns a multi-line dealership. "He's so successful, in fact, in the last six months he gave a friend two brand new cars as a gift."

The third man brags that his son has worked his way up through a stock brokerage firm, and has become so successful that in the last few weeks has given a good friend a large stock portfolio as a gift.

As the fourth man arrives at the tee box, the three smugly tell him that they have been discussing how successful their progeny are, and ask what line of work his son is in.

"To tell the truth, I'm not very pleased how my son has turned out," he replies. "For fifteen years, he's been a hairdresser, and I've just recently discovered he's gay."

As the other three recoil in horror, he continues, "but on the bright side, he must be good at what he does, because his last three boyfriends have given him a brand new house, two new cars, and a big stock portfolio."
