Look for OEM versions sold by different website,or on ebay. It's a version of windows made for system builders. They are typically a lot cheaper then the retail price and don't come in a box with a manual. Instead all you get is an envelope with a cd-rom, a small booklet with instructions and a COA license sticker. Microsoft requires that oem software may only be sold with hardware so some websites will insist that you buy at least 1 piece of hardware (even something as small as a 10 dollar power supply) but some websites really don't care about that rule. I found it for $80 here www.oem-avenue.com maybe you can find an even better deal.

Well, if you don't want to order from the internet, then you should check your local Yellow Pages and phone up some computer stores for an OEM XP Pro disc. Department stores will charge more.
The good thing about the small computer stores is that you can haggle with the price.
Pay in cash too.
Make sure that the disk isn't a pirated copy too! You can tell by the packaging and Microsoft's web site has information about how to identify pirated discs.

Depends on your definition of the term 'reasonable'.

Head over to http://www.microsoft.com for a copy.
