My cat is a neuterd male, 1.5 years old. I have had him since he was 6 weeks old and have never heard him purr. He is usually a moody cat but sometimes he will be real nice and try to cuddle me, even then I love on him and try to be really super nice but he still won't purr. What is wrong with him?

I am running a PC with Skype and a Logitech camera with nor problems, but I am trying to help my girlfriend setup her iSight camera so that it is compatible with Skype. Okay to spare you all a long story I am going to break down our history and just tell me what you think....Met Freshman year of High School, interested but said nothing....Started hanging out with him and my current b/f they were friends....year later he moved to Ohio, I cried hard saying goodbye, still never told him how I felt.....told him while he was gone....He came back....even with a g/f he still made time for me...Our kiss was magical....we messed around and talked alot....b/f found out our "relationship" and backed off for 2 years....He's back in my life....I fell in love hard with this man, still after 10 years....Do you think the feelings mutual??

It happens all the time here, christians talk about atheists questioning their beliefs or accussing us of being closet believers.
Don't they understand that by definition, an atheist is devoid of beliefs?
Instead we rely on knowledge and reasoning based on logic and evidence.
Creationism is a belief
God is the product of belief
Evolution is knowledge based on evidence.
Understanding that when you die you are dead is also the product of knowledge. It is absurd, given the observable evidence, to suggest that such a stand point is a "belief"
To suggest that we secretly believe in God and turn to him in a crisis is just laughable.

I think that it ends on Easter Sunday, but I'm not too sure. I gave up soda (which killed me) and we're having an Easter party thing on Sunday, and I just wanted to know if I can drink soda on Easter, or do I need to wait until Monday?

is it ok for a 16 girl to study outside right next to her front door during an all nighter? i live in a small town. no house robberies, thugs, or anything of the kind. very quiet after 11 pm. i find it more relaxing to study outside in a quiet, open space. after spending all day in my house office, it gets a vibe that just does not help with my studies. however, well, it's still the middle of the night and well, i don't want my parents for some reason waking up and not finding me inside (although i'm sure i'll hear them looking for me) and thinking i've snuck out (which i'v enever done btw. i'm an overall goody two shoes :P)
PS: they are already asleep so i cant really ask them right now
