is it ok for a 16 girl to study outside right next to her front door during an all nighter? i live in a small town. no house robberies, thugs, or anything of the kind. very quiet after 11 pm. i find it more relaxing to study outside in a quiet, open space. after spending all day in my house office, it gets a vibe that just does not help with my studies. however, well, it's still the middle of the night and well, i don't want my parents for some reason waking up and not finding me inside (although i'm sure i'll hear them looking for me) and thinking i've snuck out (which i'v enever done btw. i'm an overall goody two shoes :P)
PS: they are already asleep so i cant really ask them right now

I'm afraid this isn't a safe practise, even if your town has a low crime record.
If you asked your parents, they would definitely give a straight no. They have your interests at heart and certainly do not want anything bad to happen to you.
Studying outside of your house at night probably isn't the only way to study and revise your work peacfully. There are many other similar places for studying, like the local library (if its still open), or a grass patch within your house etc.
Do ask your parents for advice. And don't stay overnight because of an important examination that is approaching. The brain absorbs more information in the morning at evening.

I have had the same experience. But like you was not real comfortable. So, go back inside. If you have an upstairs room, perhaps an open window. If not set a fan up so the air circulates. Good luck with your studies

zg: Your parents get on your case for this because they have your best interests in mind. Parents worry for their children because they realize anything can happen in today's world. Let them know that you are only studying just outside. (I hope you don't have a boy friend come sneaking around while your parents are inside sleeping.) Trust is confidence in knowing that you won't "buck the system" and will conduct yourself in a responsible manner. You will be 18 years of age before you know it and you will mature even, more-so, mentally, than you are presently. Your parents love you - so don't forget to love them back and good luck to you !!!

I wouldn't do this unless you have talked to your parents about it first. I suspect that they won't be happy with the idea of you staying up all night in the first place, let alone sitting outside by yourself.
Do you have a back porch, or at least a lighted area out back where you could sit? That would be a little better, especially if you have a fenced back yard.

the project is they're the two underage. Neither could make adequate to help a newborn so finally the grandparents are going to might desire to do it. If the father's parents refuse then you certainly will might desire to bypass to courtroom. It relies upon on community regulations. If the father has to a pair variety of job then he will might desire to pay in spite of the fact that it specific won't purchase lots. that's unhappy because of fact her parents will might desire to strengthen the newborn because of fact a sixteen year old can't. that's a detrimental subject quite considering the fact that start administration advice is so available & getting that's quite ordinary.

Yes, stay inside during the night as being outside makes you an easy target. Things happen everywhere, even in rural places so don't be so trusting because that can get you in trouble.

It sounds like you feel safe, so why not? Except, of course, it's dark, and bad for your eyes. Some people like to study or think on the roof -- that's more dangerous getting up and down, but safer from the "bad people" aspect. Is there anything wrong with your back yard?
I dunno, there is something nice and relaxing about night air. And, it is *good* to rest your eyes by looking at the stars for at least 5 minutes every half hour. My optometrist's assistant told me that. And she had beautiful eyes (-:.
If you see anyone coming, scoot back in the house. But otherwise, enjoy your freedom!

If it helps you study and it's safe, why not? Leave the door open to the porch, and maybe put a note on your bed just in case they come in, and you have your bases covered.
Happy studying!

As long as you feel safe it is ok, but if you have a cordless phone keep it with you and keep the door propped open so you can get in fast just in case.
