Oh get them. Wellies are not that expensive. Poor little guy needs to keep his feet warm. You wouldn't want him to get sick would you?

Tell him you'll pay half if he'll pay the other half. He needs to learn responsiblilty, and if you just give him everything, he'll become spoiled. And I personally hate spoiled fish. They make me sick.
