My mother and father separated 3 years ago. Mum left because police called. Now my dad who is 49 has a 23 year old girlfriend - I hate her - and don't want anything to do with her. My mother went nuts when she found out she says what is he teaching us boys (we live with dad). She sleeps over. Is this sick?

My periods have been really irregular(started 11 months ago), I'm 16. I got my period for the 1st time in over 2 months today! This is really bad because I am in a country town at the moment with my Dad and in 2 days we are travelling to a city to meet my Mum and other siblings. The problem is, my Mum pretty much expected me to wear tampons almost immediately and because of TSS (I already worry unnessesarily about small everyday things as it is) I haven't been inclined to try them yet. My problem is that my Mum bought be ultra thin pads but must not have read the back which said what type of flow they were designed for. I got for a heavy flow (ultra thin supa pads!). They are too long! I also got overnight pads with tampons when I first started. I only have 2 of the pads left and like 6 overnight pads! I have a light to medium flow. I will be wearing denim jeans. Will you be able to see the pad? Also, my parents promised they'd take me shopping for winter clothes.

And will most likely give you a hard time getting a job after graduating from it? The school I currently attend is a 4th tier university in the middle of a very bad neighborhood and is considered one of the worst schools in chicago, but would it be bad to transfer from it?

The problems are most noticeably worse at night when I'm trying to lie still to go to sleep. However, it is a horrible problem that I'm debating whether or not the debilitating back pain is a better alternative to scratching my skin off. Anyone have any help, alternatives, suggestions.
