The English language is full of negative co notations on words. Maybe if we bombard ourselves with enough sensory imagery while ignoring we naturally become pessimistic

It gives people an excuse when to not try. The desire to not try is a result of people's fear of failure and humiliation. Thus people are pessimistic because they are afraid to live and fail and grow. Kinda silly to me, since everyone fails but its those who get back up who really learn to live.

People want to be pessimistic, because they believe that if they can't do something, no one should be able to do it, and they use discouragement and pessimism to try to break down people from suceeding just because they cannot.
