Once a horse is no longer of any use as a beast of burden, people get upset if the horse is butchered for food for either dogs or humans. Yet we have absolutely no qualms about exploiting cows for everything they have, even so far as to mount their skulls on our walls as decorations. Why don't we like using horses for meat when horses and cows are almost the same animal (in terms of their contribution to human society)?

i dont no if im pregnant, i took a preg test and it came out {p} so i took another and the same resault,but i started mt period... so i went to the hospital because i thought i was haveing a miscarriage , so he did a internal and a preg test . the resault of that was p} for my urin and my blood test said i was at a level 9... so he thought it could have been my period... but i dont think so a normal girl who has there period has hcg levels at a 1 or at the highist a 3 and mine are a 9!!! and i didnt pass anythin just a lil tisue ... but see the problem the doc thinks i migh still A be pregnant or B miscarriage or C it was JUST A PERIOD! and my period onl lasted 4 days and only heavy for 2 ... i dont no some one please help me... is it normal to have yor period , mide you i would only be 3 weeks so at 3 week could my levels just be a 9... or should they be higher at 3 weeks .. :( please i need some help

I was at a high school retreat this past weekend and we had adoration Saturday night. We knelt in the room and the Eucharist was propped up on a table in front of us. I was staring at the white centerpiece for a like 2 minutes and then I swear a face appeared in it. It had long hair and a beard and at one point, I kid you not, it looked around at everybody in the room and smiled. At the end of adoration, the Arch-deacon went over to the Eucharist and as soon as he touched it with his cloth, the face disappeared. Well, when adoration was over, I told some people and they were like "That was Jesus!!!" And then the next day, I found out that one of the guys over there had a dream earlier about Jesus walking around, touching everybody's left shoulder, during adoration. He went on telling me how when Jesus reached me, he not only touched my shoulder, but also whispered in my ear, telling me that I was special and that later on in life I would figure out why. my ex is on the brith control shot. she has been on it for 5 and a half months already. about 2 and a half month ago we had sex the day after she had gone to the doctors to get her stomach cleaned. i used protection. that was the only time we had sex after her misscarriage. a week later she had her period. and week after that she was Supossedly pregnant. it took me over 4 weeks to make her give me a pregnancy test and it came out negative, but she still insisted that she was pregnant. she had went to the doctors for check ups but i was never there. i told her that all her pregnancy symptons were all the side effects of the birth control. she doest not beleive me and she is so sure shes pregnant. today we went to Kaiser permente but she refused to go in. she said that i would leave her if i knew it was real.... i dont know what to do. is she pregnant of not??
