I bought cingular because of my friends using it

I actually worked for Cingular and if you are wanting to get out of your contract early, here's a little trick, find an area that has NO Cingular service, and I mean NOOOO service, and say that you are moving there and you can cancel without the cancellation fee.

Since AT&T bought Cingular,you and your friends will still be in the same network.

They bought all the Cingular contracts in-place, as they are!

(But on the lighter side... your friend is now AT&T also!)

Yes you can cancel it, but you will be paying a termination fee.
