I love Michael Jackson! No, the allegations don't put me off him because they were false, made by greedy people who were looking for some money! I still listen to his music everyday and rate him the highest in the pop world! Long live the King of Pop!!!

Still love his music, he and the Jackson 5 made some of the best records ever. I think he is more misguided as a result of his childhood than a paedophile. If it is true then he should have been punished, i believe paedophiles should go down for life as you will never cure them it is the way they are, what gives them their kicks. The parents of the kids involved should take some responsibility, their is no way mine would be allowed to stay with someone I didn't know let alone in the same room. You can't change his music though.
Gary Glitter is a different story, possibly because it was proven without a doubt, knew a few (who didn't know each other) people who had tickets for his concert tour when it all came out, they all ripped their tickets up. Creep should still be inside.

He made some really great music back in the 70's and 80's, which will always be great records, so he did have a lot of talent - not anymore because he hasn't recorded anything at all great for about 20 years.
I didn't really believe that he abused those kids - I think he is just deeply disturbed and doesn't seem to function like a normal adult of his age (he's in his 40's!) should.
He's such a mess physically and mentally - he'll never be the Michael Jackson he was back then - he's now only Wacko Jacko.

I have been a M.J fan since 1979,he then had an album called 'Off the Wall'.
I am not a fanatic but appreciate his talent and style, which others still copy today.
I know every song and know the lyrics to all his songs, and still have the 'Off the Wall' L.P.
He has set so many benchmark records in his career, from best video ,dance, album sales and many others.
So many have copied his moves and style, most recently USHER who admits to being influenced by M.J.
Love or hate him he is the ultimate pop superstar, and others can only dream of having his recognition.
I do not agree with his plastic surgery ,as i believe we are who we are and his looks does'nt change his talent.
As for the recent court battle ,i can take it or leave it as the evidence was so poor it wold'nt have even got to court if he was'nt who he is.
I believe it was more about money and viewers ratings than about any crime that was or was'nt committed.
So for me he is and will always be a legend in the pop music world, and will be a tough act to follow.
And before anyone slates me on my comments about his court case and whether he did it or not.
I spent most of last year picking up the pieces of my 10yr old daughters rape case against the pedo that raped and abused her.So i have more reason than most to hate people that commit these types of crimes.

I have always loved Jackson and I'm an older woman. I am saddened by the way things went for him! he is the most talented person ever. I hope he makes a come back. I will always enjoy his music. But it is sad that he let things get out of hand and life destroyed by money hungry people. We'll see in twenty years when the kids come forward and say none of that crap was true..How sad that Micheal allowed his appearence to be altered so drasticly. That in it self aqlmost ruined him.I will always listen to his music.

I like his music (the stuff that doesn't suck ***), but I don't care for him, I can't feel sorry for him for being so stupid. I won't judge him on the allegations cos both sides of the case have weak arguments, and weak evidence. But damn if he isn't one of the most stupid people in the world at times. And I can not understand why he has children. They're not toys or charchters from Peter Pan, they're human beings, and I feel very strongly that he and his children should not be left unattended. That is just wrong. It's WRONG!

Nothing has ever changed what I think of MJ's music, pure genius, with or without the allegations. I do think a lot of these allegations came about because of people trying to con money out of him, however some of these allegations have stuck and although I still love the music I dont idolize him neither would I encourage anyone else to.

As for those allegations, they are just allegations to me and as I don't know him personally I therefore believe that I have no right to judge him. I will state, however, that he was found not guilty, remember? I am otherwise indifferent towards those allegations and as for the plastic surgery, it's all his choice and none shall take that away from him; he chose to be that way so let him be. Again, I feel no right to judge him on that either. So, it comes down to one thing: he's a good artist and for me, he is the best entertainer of all time. He's a truely talented artist and has sold many records and for that he really does deserve the best rewards for his career.

As an artist, the man is a musical genius! You can't discredit his talent based on his private life. Now, as a person, the man has issues. I definitely wouldn't let him near my daughter, but I would ask for his autograph if I ever met him. He is, after all, an Icon, and he is a musical influence for many of today's artist.
