Last night, I went out to the store to buy some tylenol at around 11:30pm; about 2-3 blocks from my house. I was talking on my cell phone and in front of me on the sidewalk were a small group of about 3 teens. I managed to hear them say "let's get his phone" and they walked towards me. I carry a butterfly knife with me at all times so i unhooked the clip that holds it together so i could release it. One of them put their hand around my arm grabbing me in the street and said "Give me your phone!" With my free hand i took out my knife, swung it open, and slashed his wrist with it. The other two teens saw what happened and ran away. i could tell he was bleeding a lot and was on the ground. A neighbor managed to see this and screamed 'HELP! He's been stabbed. HE DID IT" pointing at me. i managed to run away and go home, i still have the knife and i put it away.

What should I do? i feel that if i don't report anything i'll be fine cause they don't know who I am.

When I am going from 0-60 pressing down on the gas hard. The car shifts from all the way to the 4th gear. But I have to let up on the gas then press it again to get it going in 4th. What can be wrong?

I'm trying to do my taxes and I can't find out how much I paid for my CA Vehicle License Fee last year. Can a few people tell me what yours is and on what type of car so I can estimate? Mine is a 2004 Saturn Ion. So any similar cars/years in the state of California would be helpful.

I bought a new handlebar online and I can't seem to remove my shifters from the old bar to place on the new one. I have Shimano ST-5600's in the 105 group. There is a heavy rubber boot I can't seem to get off until I remove it from the bar and I can't find any screw that allows me to loosen the retaining bracket from the bar. Please, I need help! These things are expensive and I don't want to break them nor do I want to get ripped off at the bike shop to do it... Thanks.

Islam is a literalist religion. Fundamentalism is mainstream in Islam.

Muslims believe all science comes from the quran. This is all so odd to me cause I can honestly say that I have never read anything as absurd and violent as the quran. But maybe I missed something that the other billion illiterate muslims see more clearly...if the quran is the source of all science then there must be dinosaur descriptions. Show me.

Would a pandemic that kills off millions of people like the 1918 Spanish flu, would our emissions drop drastically as a result, or would the impact on the developed world, which is the bigger polluter, be too little to make a difference?

In other words, would poor carless peasants in far off lands die at a greater rate than people in polluting nations?
