Last night, I went out to the store to buy some tylenol at around 11:30pm; about 2-3 blocks from my house. I was talking on my cell phone and in front of me on the sidewalk were a small group of about 3 teens. I managed to hear them say "let's get his phone" and they walked towards me. I carry a butterfly knife with me at all times so i unhooked the clip that holds it together so i could release it. One of them put their hand around my arm grabbing me in the street and said "Give me your phone!" With my free hand i took out my knife, swung it open, and slashed his wrist with it. The other two teens saw what happened and ran away. i could tell he was bleeding a lot and was on the ground. A neighbor managed to see this and screamed 'HELP! He's been stabbed. HE DID IT" pointing at me. i managed to run away and go home, i still have the knife and i put it away.
What should I do? i feel that if i don't report anything i'll be fine cause they don't know who I am.

dude, u were carrying a concealed weapon. the po-po don't like that. just lay low. since the kid was committing a crime, he probably won't report it, or pursue charges.

Terrible situation, but you do need to go to the police and tell them. The sooner the better. It was in self defence so there is nothing to worry about. Tell them exactly what happened and I am sure you will be fine. But do it soon.

Be truthful because you were defending yourself, just wait until suspicions about you arise and tell and if they dont, dont worry about it.

why you didn't call the cops i don't know, they are thugs and will do this again
