I'm trying to do my taxes and I can't find out how much I paid for my CA Vehicle License Fee last year. Can a few people tell me what yours is and on what type of car so I can estimate? Mine is a 2004 Saturn Ion. So any similar cars/years in the state of California would be helpful.

You could also ask the state agency that issues the tags/stickers. they even have a fee calculator for you. See the link below. I clicked on the link. It should have everything you need.

Vehicle license fees are ONLY deductible if they are based on value alone. No one hear can tell you the value of your vehicle. How much someone else paid is not related to any number you can deduct.
