How did you find out they were gone? Was it a happy parting when you split or was there anger and hurt? have you overcome any lingering feelings about the situation?

All the online guides on how to teach a dog to heel always instruct you to.. step forward with the left leg... etc etc. Is there a reason they use left side? Is this just a coincidence, or do dogs like the left side better? Or does this have something to do with dog pack dynamics?

I get forwarded text messages that say stupid stuff like forward to 10 people and your crush will call you or forward to 8 people and the name of your true love will show up in the inbox. I get all kinds. I don't even read them anymore. I get picture ones of fat naked ladies and Betty Boop having sex with Bart Simpson. But, who the hell comes up with these and why do my friends who are adults like me (ages 21, 22, 23) forward these to me? Where are these people getting these?

"Artist" Cosimo Cavallaro, will release his newest sculpture, “My Sweet Lord,” an anatomically correct six-foot statue of the Savior made entirely of milk chocolate - in the lobby of a Manhattan hotel.

Isn’t it time we demand common decency? How about a little respect for others beliefs? I have no problem with free expression—he has the right to create any vile piece of trash he wants. But doesn’t this belong in a private gallery and NOT on public display?

And before you lefties start calling me a neo-con who is trying to stilfle ‘free speech’, (or that I have a problem with nudity in art), what if Cavallaro decide to make 6 foot chocolate anatomically correct naked Mohammed? Would there be consequences for such a disdainful display? I can guarantee you that his ‘artwork’ would get NO public attention and that he’d be called a bigot trying to incite the Muslim community—Hillary and Obama most likely leading the charge.

Don't Christians deserve the same respect?

Our department (mainly geographic technologies) has a software developer that is retiring after about 39 years with the company. Any ideas on a good gift idea? This wouldn't be from the company but rather directly from his coworkers. Please try to keep the ideas in a range less than $250. Thanks.

I'm buying a house with a hot tub that sits in a sort of portable gazebo about 50 ft from the house. Right now we're negotiating who gets the hot tub.

There is a breaker box outside the gazebo that attaches the electricity to the hot tub and a ceiling fan. If they take the hot tub, what can I do about the breaker box that's just sticking up in the yard? Any ideas of cost to remove? I may tell them to pay it.

Yet what is the bigest problem in our country; that the british started? and then added fuel to. and still part british from down under wants the United States to send more troops to what and for what? (Iraq). Think twice before you judge some one, because it is you that should seek help. The british started slavery then the british to the US to keep your nigras' in control put the darker ones against the lighter ones, yes they are always telling us what to do, they even join in the stupidity for awhile then pull out; are you to blind to see. Look at their hearings on tv. really do you see one black face on there? Yes the british are all for us, then when things get rough they pull out. Yes we back you USof A; oh now enough is enough. How many british have been shipped home in a body bag. Then ask yourself how many USofA men and women have been shipped to our home in a body bag. Then remember smiling faces etc...etc.....

Everyone, at least at one point in there life, feels a void. I'm a good person. Things are good. I have everything I need to flourish, and come into my own. However, why does it feel like there is something more i need to achieve? Or, rather, there is something missing which I could get. If there is, in fact, something like this, how do I go about figuring out what "it" is? I need a method of prognosis.

I woke up from a nap yesterday, and my hubby told me I looked so cute when I was sleeping. I told him I wish I could say the same. Not to be mean and don't get me wrong, my husband is a hottie, but I just meant that you can't really say that to a guy. Only women and children look cute when they're sleeping. Anyway, he took offense to this. I don't know, maybe I just think that cause men take naps way more than we do, so it's kind of annoying to see them sleep, rather than cute! What do you think?

I contacted 2 of my creditors that listed my 2 charge cards as chargeoffs on my credit report and I requested that since they had been paid in full, could they be deleted from my report. I was told by them that they could not because they were reported as charged off, I can't believe that. Can anyone tell me if this is true?
