Seriously, I have seen some very silly questions, and some very extreme believes and arguments, but do you think that it is possible that for one day, people could answer the question seriously, even if the question doesn't seem serious?

I hear you, but many on here are hateful and don't seem to care too much about humanity or how their actions affect others. I do my best to be respectful in my answers. Even on the silly ones, I'm respectful but I will add an lol or a lmao if I think it's funny and it was meant to be funny. It's sad that those who are adults here aren't able to give even the smallest amount of respect. You almost want to send them to boarding school so they can learn some manners and how to treat the people around them, you know? Anyway, good luck on your quest and my thoughts are with you. :)

It is possible but not very probable. Some people think the only way to get their message across is through unpleasant, sarcastic remarks. I think they believe a nice, friendly comment will not be taken as seriously as a harsh, mean comment....and you can't place more blame on any particular side. The hatred flows equally in every direction....

I'm going to go with no. Some people are way too serious all the time, while others are just naturally mean or negative. It's a nice thought, but I doubt it will happen.

The likelihood of that happening is on a par with me winning the Powerball Lottery-highly improbable because I don't play.

This is a serious answer.

Why would you answer a question seriously if it doesn't seem serious? I do agree that we all need to respect one another. But we also need to have a sense of humor and not be uptight and have fun while we are doing it!

I could.... but I dont' feel like it. If someone asks a snarky question, they are begging for snarky answer. Take the atheist hit by a car 'joke' below as an example. That's not something worthy of a serious response.

I doubt it, but I think disrespect many times starts with the question.

I think it all depends on the questions being asked that day.

People will answer questions here in any way they see fit. You only have control over your own answers, not everyone else's.

Not likely. This crowd is full of airhead adolescents.
