Because I see so many comments where people are saying what muslims believe in but are so way off. I'm just wondering where do these ideas come from is it from the media or somewhere else. If people actually knew an average muslim first hand all of this tension would eased. I also believe if Muslims in the middle east knew the average american they would also not have hate against America. I guess its just a bad job of the Media in the west and also in the MIddle East that they make other cultures look inhumane and only report the most negative and bias news to instill these strange ideas into people's heads.

A man walks into a bar with a 12" tall man in his shirt pocket. He sit down and orders a drink and the little man sits on the bar next to him. A few minutes later the man spots a piano in the corner and tells the 12 inch tall man to go play something. The little guy jumps down, runs over to the piano and begins playing a very complicated classical song. The bartender is amazed and asks the man where he found the 12 inch tall guy. The man says "I found a lamp on the beach, rubbed it, and a genie popped out and granted me a wish." The bartender, who's been hurting financialy, asks to borrow the lamp. The man says sure, and hands it over. The bartender rubs it, out pops the genie, "I will grant you only one wish." "I wish for a million bucks!!!" shouts the bartender. The genie snaps his fingers and a million ducks appear in the bar. The bartender gets angry, "Is this genie deaf or something?" The man replies, "Did you really think I wished for a 12 inch pianist???"

Doesn't have to have the newest technology, just be a good movie. Books too, I haven't seen Eldest of course, but loved the book. And Harry Potter Books were better after the third for sure.

I have been handicapped in life due to illhealth.DEPRESSION.
Have been going and still under medication for the last 25 years from Psychiatrists.Suffered....low self esteem,witnessed failures,death of loved one.Simultaneously,I did my graduation in Commerce with 1st Div.....3 yrs Article trainee under a CA,did bussiness in running a Motel successfully for 15 years.Am keen on social service like ....I pick up dying destitutes on the road and take them to Mother Terasa's home ,and am leading a semi retired life at the age of 47 yrs.I have cardiac problems,BP and orthopedic like SLIP DISC where I remain physically passive.Am married and adopted a baby girl.I REMAIN PUZZULED AS TO HOW I SHOULD DESCRIBE MYSELF AS ON MY VISITING CARD.I can also be a good counsellor to those in Depression as I have undergone it myself for so long!! I am also religous & spritual;but also fond of western music and enjoy worldly pleasures.ANYONE WHO CAN GUIDE ME ?????

I often see answers in here that children should not be taught, or forced to believe in any specific faith, especially Jehovah's Witness, but should not this apply to all things where a parent's point of view is being fostered onto a child?.

Should children not be taught or forced to believe:

That democracy is better than communism, socialism, fascism, etc.?
That all people are equal, rather than by birthright, some are more deserving?
That coveting thy neighbors possessions or spouse is wrong, instead of the more powerful taking what they desire and deserve?
That sexual activity for the very young is wrong, but okay for adults?

There are many things that we impress upon our children that is based on our personal opinion and/or beliefs. Many of our laws, such as incest are based religious beliefs and with current preventative technology on reproductive health, many are coming to believe that it is no longer needed or wanted.

My Little Brother has asked me to discover a way for him to get a great deal, or infinite money, for this game. He has also requested that I find a way for him to "copy" his pokemon.

Does anyone know what he is talking about and how these things can be done? I looked on several "notable" cheat sites, and they mentioned something about a game shark, or something with codes, however all he has is his GBA. Is there away around this?

ok , it's about 2 months that im goin to a gym and working out , but i still using the 30kg weights( chest exercises) , i cant improve myself! all my friends are using 40-65 kg ...
i have started using protein shake from last day...

I'm speaking in the mental sense, not the physical.

We can begin with defining maturity. What is maturity? The dictionary term is "The state or quality of being fully grown or developed." But how does one decide who's truly developed, mentally?

I have a female boss who's in her 40's who presents herself as incredibly mature and brilliant. But behind closed doors, she lies, is very deceptive, and basically acts like a child who craves more power and will do anything to avoid being seen as done something wrong, even when she makes huge mistakes. She acts exactly like the men she hates and doesn't even realize it. You never know when she's telling the truth or lying.

I, and many others, could have sworn she was the most mature woman we ever met, until we saw how she really is.

These situations show me that many women who aren't mature, seem to be able to present themselves as extremely mature, but that doesn't mean they actually are. Society then just believes what it sees.

Given advance supercomputers and the state of our technology, is it at all possible for us to determine how humans will evolve a couple million or billion years from now? I mean, we already have an idea of what our ancestors look like, so maybe there's a pattern or something out there for us that we can use.
