There are 4 of us planning on riding our motorcycles from Daytona Beach to Anchorage, Alaska. We have our schedule down and will do the trip in 40 days. We wonder if any of you have made the trip along the Alcan Highway and if you have any favorite restaurants and motels that you would like to recommend.

There is this friend who is a girl, she stays glued to my butt! She follows me everywhere, I don't like her that much! She is annoying sometimes but I don't wanna hurt her. When I go to the movies with a bunch of friends and I try to sit next to the girl I love, she comes and sits next to me instead and never shuts up! For example I have a party tonight and she asks me if I'm going, I tell her that I'm not sure, she tells me please come so I could stay with you all night! Now I'm thinking of not going to this party because of this! I feel that I can't move when she is around! Help! What should I tell her in a nice way?

I've applied and interviewed at a school for my Psy.D. (Clinical Psychology). The program accepts up to 27 people per year and interviewed roughly 75-80. I was just informed that I am on the alternate list - the list has a total of 10 people on it, but they do not rank those people. I'm wondering what my realistic odds are for acceptance. I know it depends on financial aid, rejections, etc. My question is how OFTEN does someone reject a grad school. Do I have a 50/50 chance, or more like a 10% chance? Anyone know?

Also - is it common to find out BEFORE the April 15th deadline, or do schools wait until the deadline passes to assess the situation?

Trying to see what the payback would be if I purchased new , more efficient flouescent light fixtures for my shop. Current useage is 1.05 amps per fixture (T-12)and the new ones (T-8) draw .94 amps. Thanks!

It's apparently a well-known fact that the Bible teaches that lust is wrong. But for a good while now, I've been having the idea that, hey... maybe sexual desire is only a possible ASPECT of what true lust really is. Lust could only mean selfish possessiveness and not have to do with finding the person sexually attractive in the least.

Has anyone else thought of this? Or does lust as defined in the Bible exclusively mean desiring sex, and nothing else?

I guess I'm asking this because it doesn't seem to make sense that God would create us as procreative beings and then turn around and say it's a sin to find the opposite sex appealing.

i am talking about the women i see complain on this forum and in everday life. how in the world do you complain if you dit not take the required steps to get the child support for your kids. and if you did how in the world did you not get your child's fair share. i for one pay my child support faithfully regardless of how unreasonable it may seem trust me i am not the only one who thinks 800 a month for 1 child is. but like i was saying i think the system is def pro women so how can it be sum men can get off so easilt while men like me want to support their kids get shafted. A nd for the women who do recieve cs, do you really think you should have no accountability . i am very cautious how i spend my money and know where every little bit goes except for the 800 a month i have been ordered to hand over so i have just sum it up to i did my part whatever she does with it its her biz. i am not sayng you have to tell me just saying there should be sum type of accountability.

I went behind my BF's back & got the number to his new cell phone which he said is his business line. He said that he wasn't giving the # out so I felt suspicious. Once I got the # I called him private just to see if I had the right number, I thought he'd let it go to voicemail but he picked up & I hung up. When he asked me if it was me. I told him that I knew the # & he freaked out. He hung up the phone on me. We've seen each other since then & we've talked since then but he won't talk to me about the issue. I'm tryin not 2 b hard on myself bcause I figure it's a cell phone #, it's not his bank acct. am I being too hard on myself or is he being 2 hard on me cause now he barely makes i contact with me, and is sensitive about anything I say about the phone. He said I violated him & that I'm a liar. So how do I make it up to him or is he overreacting 2 something that isn't even that serious?

I'm working on a project that would require the use of some software for green screen technology. We want to put people into a postcard basically and take a picture. Which software would you recommend for such a project? Adobe After Effects? Pinnacle Academic tool kit (I think it comes with Pinnacle 6)? Ultra Magic?

I have ants in my apartment and I want to get rid of them. however, I also do have a cat and Im weary of using any kind of ant traps or sprays because I do not want to harm my cat. Does anyone know of any kind of home remedies to get rid of the ants? The ants do not have access to my cats food because it is in airtight container so that is not the problem.

My german sister in law (30) thnks she know everything and my parents jump as soon as she or my brother(29) snaps their fingers. The result, they ignore me(21) or don;t respect my opinion.They have doctorate degrees ingeology and i am studying journalism , 3rd year. it's like I dont matter anymore.my parents just blows it of and keep on going the old ways.What do I do? I 'm getting a complex here.
