Green screen technology?

I'm working on a project that would require the use of some software for green screen technology. We want to put people into a postcard basically and take a picture. Which software would you recommend for such a project? Adobe After Effects? Pinnacle Academic tool kit (I think it comes with Pinnacle 6)? Ultra Magic?

Adobe after effects would work pretty good. I've used it before, and if you have the green screen it should be pretty easy to just paste your people into any picture.
