There is this friend who is a girl, she stays glued to my butt! She follows me everywhere, I don't like her that much! She is annoying sometimes but I don't wanna hurt her. When I go to the movies with a bunch of friends and I try to sit next to the girl I love, she comes and sits next to me instead and never shuts up! For example I have a party tonight and she asks me if I'm going, I tell her that I'm not sure, she tells me please come so I could stay with you all night! Now I'm thinking of not going to this party because of this! I feel that I can't move when she is around! Help! What should I tell her in a nice way?

Look. There are people who you can tell nicely and can take a hint when they are not wanted around. Then there are those selfish souls that over-step your boundaries and assume that you want to be with them. They don't care if they are being selfish of your time. So here is what you need to do. Tell the girl: Yes, I'm going to the party and I have plans with another girl. I'll tell you hello when I have a few minutes and introduce you to her.
If that doesn't do it just tell her outright that clinging girls are not attractive and you need some breathing space. Tell her you don't want to be obligated to be with her all of the time. If she can't handle that, so be it.
You can say anything you like to someone kindly. If she decides she's "hurt", then that's her problem. Godloveya.

Tell her that u want to set her up with another guy that u know and maybe she will get the hint, and start to talk about the girl u like to her and maybe she will get the hint from that also. You might can't come right out and tell her that u don't like her because it may hurt her really bad being that she sounds needy and all.

Maybe you should tell her that you need some space right now to think things through. Tell her you need her to stop followng you for no because she's one of the things you have to think about and if she keeps following you everywhere you go, then it will make the decsion very easy on you to say no to her. I don't know, it was just a thought.

Well, its obvious that she's pretty much obsessed with you, and isn't too shy to admit it at all. I'll take it that you probably don't flirt back with her or anything, so she must be stubborn if she didn't get that clue... So what you need to do is just flat out tell her, "hey I'm flattered and all, but I really don't like you like that, I'm sorry. you're way to clingy, and its not attractive."

i dont think theres anyway of being nice to tell her really. I had this man at my work doing the same thing helping me when i never needed help, its was starting to piss me off. I told him in a nice way to leave me alone but he kept on thinking i was joking , so i had to have a go at him then he left me alone. just get her aside and just tell her sorry but your bugging me please stop maybe you have to hurt her feelings to get her to see..

she seems to really like you, and she seems lonely. tell her you can't get involved with anyone right now. that you dont want any relationship with anyone for a long while. hopefully she will take the hint.
