There are 4 of us planning on riding our motorcycles from Daytona Beach to Anchorage, Alaska. We have our schedule down and will do the trip in 40 days. We wonder if any of you have made the trip along the Alcan Highway and if you have any favorite restaurants and motels that you would like to recommend.

This same question was asked awhile ago in the motorcycle forum. I have made the Alcan trip 1377 times, a few of those times by motorcycle.
Major highlights include:
Dawson Creek B.C. (mile "0")
Toad River
Indian Head Mountain
Stone Mountain Provincial Park and Muncho Lake
The Rancheria
Watson Lake (the Sign Post Forest)
Whitehorse (the capital of the Yukon; and biggest city on your Alcan trip)
The list just goes on and on.
