There are a few problems with shaving pubic hair. Ingrown hairs as a result can be painful. The itchng associated with it is also annoying. The occaisional nick can be annoying and become infected. Also, things can get slick down there from sweating and other things. Some hair there keeps things cool and helps avoid moisture. For me I do not completely shave that area although I do keep it under control. I use a beard trimmer with a guard, that I keep at about #3 or #4. This gives me a very trim look without being noticed unusual as I shower or change at the gym. For me to much hair down there is very annoying especially in the summer. I also do a lot of cycling and it eliminates all that pulling and soreness I can get from hair in the wrong place. There are places I do shave, but that is nornaly my chest and abdomin. I also keep under arm hair trimmed. I do the chest and abs because I work out and It affords me the opportunity to see the muscle definition and progress better. Also, it looks better when you tan up. Just be careful. Is it good for men, that all depends on what you are doing it for.

It's good for me. Some men like alot of it some donn't. They might ask theur girl friends or wives what they think. It's just personal taste. I shave it when it starts getting to bushy and annoying. I like to leave some so it makes me more of a male. I just trim around the pubic area and waist and inner theighs. I did use a electric shaver but that did not work so I use a stright edge with shaving cream. After wards is stuck, itched and there were bumps all ovr where a shaved. I should of use some lotion on after I did it. Duh.

It is neither good or bad for men to shave their pubic hair. Trimming the hair short but not shaving completely bald looks and feels better. No itching and less maintenance. Most men like women shaved clean and their own pubic hair untouched.

I personally think it is more comfortable and hygienic.
After shaving a few times you will be uncomfortable with hair. No worries.
BTW, use a good razor like a Mach 3 or the Fusion. Easy and comfortable.

I don't think it's bad for you. A lot of men do it; it's much cleaner and it makes you feel better. Start with electric trimmers and put the #1 guard on. This will keep the hair nice and short without being bald.

Actually it's not. If you shave, sweat doesn't evaporate well. The abraded skin makes a perfect place for bacteria to grow, and the sweat speeds things up. You can get very nasty infections that way. The chances are very high that you will also smell very bad because of the fungus and such that grows where your clothes stick to your privates. You won't smell it but everyone else will.
Hair is there for a purpose, and removing it is not healthful or hygienic.
