Criminal background check, yeah. If it was a minor offense, they let it pass, if it was something you lied about and did not tell them, then you are in trouble. If you are honest and upfront with your recruiter, then there should be no problems.

They should be telling you what popped up on your background check at MEPS, that way you can explain. Its probably a head game or maybe your a junior. When I went through MEPS they somehow figured out that my last name when I was born wasnt the same last name I had when I enlisted(I didnt even know). My dad didnt sign the birth certificate when I was born so my mother gave me her last name. Nothing happened my recruiter thought it was funny.

You don't give up asking this guest ion, do you?

You'll either need to get the waiver or find a way to remove the warrant for your arrest from the FBI's computer system. That's the answer to your question.

I am pretty sure that they do all of the checks before you actually swear in and if you knew of something that you didn't tell them you could get into trouble for lying....I'm not sure what would actually happen, if someone else doesn't have an answer for you I'll ask my hubby who used to be a recruiter and get back to you...

Not me personally but Iwas there with my step-son and he got his deployment date bor Basic then and all was well.

My nephew......signed, swore in and was at basic training when there was an issue in his background that came up and he was sent home from basic and given a discharge. Not an honorable discharge but something similar to him never having enlisted.

I'm beginning to believe that you have a reading comprehension problem, because you don't pay attention to the answers you have received for the VERY SAME QUESTION.

Please just shut the hell up

I AGREE 1000% WITH TALLERFELLER! YOU HAVE BEEN ASKING THE SAME QUESTIONS FOR WEEKS AND WEEKS NOW. AND YOU CHANGED YOUR PROFILE NAME THINKING WE WOULDN'T FIGURE OUT IT WAS STILL THE SAME PERSON ASKING THE SAME QUESTIONS OVER AND OVER AGAIN.

ONCE AGAIN, YOU AREN'T GOING TO BOOT CAMP WITH YOUR WARRANT THING UNRESOLVED. YOU WILL BE DISCHARGED FROM DEP AND YOU WILL GO ON YOUR MERRY WAY SOMEWHERE BESIDES THE NAVY. AGAIN STOP ASKING THE SAME QUESTIONS OVER AND OVER AGAIN. WE HAVE GIVEN YOU THE ANSWER A MILLION TIMES ALREADY.
