Where do they all get this notion from? I am an American, and I have to struggle just to pay my bills. Our country has more than it's share of poverty, homeless people, and slums. So why is it that that people that have never been here think that Americans are all rolling in money?

Hi guys,

I am having trouble choosing a future career. I am a college student, but have not chose the major yet.

I have taken two test, one is MBTI test, and the other one is U&I.

From the tests above, I have talent on the career that deals with the machenical things. But I do not want to end up woking in the factories, etc., because in today's world, the manufacturing industry does not make the "lots" of money.

In today's world, the financial and the "corporate administrations", etc., making loads of money. Plus, I like living in the big cities like L.A. or N.Y., but those manufacturing facilities are located on outside of the big cities.

My question is this; do you recommend any kind of test that reveals what kind of career I want deep inside of my mind?

I haven't read many books.

I finished the book "Jumper" by Steven Gould, i really like it.

I also like Michael Crichton.

I am looking for a book that has a science fiction aspect to it,
but not a completely far out fantasy world with aliens and stuff.

Famous authors or books are ok because I just started reading recently.

Any suggestions?

my friend is with a guy that is completely and 100% possessive over her. He is so insecure. When they first got together she noticed how possessive he was and she said she hated it. The more and more he woo'ed her the more and more she would let him control her. He does not like her talking to any other guy. So now she doesn't really talk to any other guys. She couldn't stay at my house during Superbowl while he was at work, because there were a few of me and my boyfriend's guy friends there and she would have to sit next to them. I barely see her anymore and I've told her that I think that he is overboard on something. She says she sees my concerns but she is happy. Her whole family and most of her friends don't like the guy she is with. Should I continue being friends with her and just let her make her own decisions or what?

So My Bother Is 22, He Was Involved In A Hit And Run At Age Of 21. This Is The Story... He Was Realy Drunk At Some Party And Decided To Take Off Home. He Was Driving In The Middle Of The Road And Hit Some Car That Was Drinking In The Oppisite Durection. My Bro Paased Out And The Other Car Keep Driving, The People From The Party Heard The Crash And Went To Find MY Bro Still In The Car So EveryOne Help Take Him Back To THe Hose Of The Party. The Peps At The Party Paniced And Called The Cops. When The cops Came They Found My Bro On The Lawn Of The House. They Lied And Told The Cops That They Found Him There And That The Cars Were Up The Street, When The Cop Went To See The Cars Up The Street He Found The Girl Of The Car On Just There On Foot With No Injuries. The Next Day He Woke Up In Jail With No Memory Of What Had Happen. His Out On Bail. He Is An Ilegal Alien With No Lisence Or ID. What Are The Consequences And What Were To Happen If He Was Caught Driving WithOut A Lisence?
