Have a pregnancy test done just to make sure. My nipples where really sore when I first conceived but they where always sore just before my period anyway so I just thought my period was late.
Good luck

Hi there! My nipples hurting are the first sign I get that I am pregnant. Usually a few days before my period is actually due. The last 3 times I have been pregnant (2 miscarriages in the last 6 months and I am now 8 weeks pregnant) I have done a test a few days (possibly up to 5 days) before my period was due solely because my nipples were hurting! Good luck with it!

Don't rely on all the different things that could or might happen during pregnancy. Take a test and then you will know for sure. Anything can cause any part of your body to hurt one day and not the next. I had my period all 9 months that I was prego with my son, so don't rely on the usual facts. My breasts did not start hurting for a couple of months.

My nipples didn't hurt - my boobs did. My boobs hurt so much that I had to go very slowly up the stairs, it hurt to give someone a cuddle and hurt to turn over in bed. That happened within a week of conception.
If you keep touching your nipples, they will get sore!!

with my first pregnancy, before i even new that i was pregnant, my entire breast hurt they swelled a little and it was painful to put on my bra, then someone told me that i was pregnant and sure enough i was. and with this pregnancy i kept waiting, thinking that the same thing would happen and they would get tender to the touch, but nothing.... not till about 11 weeks or so when i started lactating
~sore and tender breast are an early symptom of pregnancy but not always a reliable one~

When you get pregnant almost straightaway every thing starts hurting and it dose not stop until the baby is born and at that moment when you hold your baby for the first time you realise that it was worth every pain and ace the very best of luck to you and your baby.
