it is possible and no harm as such if you are so deeply in love with that person, distant cousin of yours, but scientifically talking, you never know you may have some genetic disorders in the progeny, so consult some human genetic expert before going for any such relationships. i am saying this as i have seen the cases.

i don't see a problem, its legal in UK to marry your first cousin so distant cousin isn't a problem. so go for it
