Do you have any ambition to progress in catering, if so then leaving the chef job is a no-brainer.

If you want to work with animals then the other job may be a better option.

But the over riding factor should be, where is your work going to be after september.

I'd go for the zoo job. Once you're there you'll make more connections with the animal world and other job opportunities may present themselves. Work should be about more than just a pay check. Go for what gives you the best possibility to do what you love. Good luck!

Difficult one, thing is when will you ever get the chance to work in a Zoo again and if you left your present job would you leave with enough qualificatons to get a job after September. One of those cross roads in life!!!!

Go with it, you never know it may become permanent.

Good skilled chefs are in high demand in most areas so if it does end then you should have no problem finding a job later on.

Maybe. I would say that it depense on your sellery. If you get more money as a chef ,then don't quit. If you get more money as a catering assistant, then you should.

Are you able to take a "Leave of Absence?" Maybe that is a good option for you. It's a way to have your cake and eat it too.
