Have any of you ever picked a best answer that did not agree with your agenda but was thoughtful and insightful?

I am curious because it seems like most from the varying viewpoints on here really are just militants looking for people who will affirm and justify their beliefs or lack therof rather then seeking honest answers and common ground.

Every month my husband gets a really bad stomach ache when I am about to start my period or during it. I was wondering if this ever happens to anyone else or if anyone else has heard of it happening? Also is it normal to get really bad depression with your period because I have been having really bad mood swings this month. Please help me. Thank you

It's that time of year again. Schools are giving those tests to see if the students learn anything in 2006-2007. You know principals will go haywire if the students do not do well and the teacher will be put on the spot. Are schools teaching how to take a test or teaching the basic skills of Reading and Math? Schools placed on probation because the students do not score very well but they have knowledge to go to college and have a sucessful career. What have teaching and learning become?

Doesn't homosexuality corrupt conservativism? Besides, homosexuals are much too effeminate to be conservatives. Homosexuals have made the Republican Party and traditional conservativism an embarrassment. How can we still be conservatives after this travesty and catastophe? Why did we allow homosexuals to feminize American family values?

The short version is that I was denied a position at a local retailer and the only reason I could ascertain would be because of a misdemeanor that I was found guilty of when I was seventeen. The misdemeanor was supposed to be expunged upon successful competeion of juveille probation. Who'd have thought it would come back? The only other thing I could imagine it being is a bankrupty filing, but can an employer deny me a job becase filed chapter seven?

I am trying to find fun things to do (no clubs) in the area of Valencia or surrounding cities...no more than 1 hour away. My boyfriend of 9 years broke up with me 2 days before Valentine's Day. He said that it's very hard for him to continue with our relationship because we're like 1000 miles apart and rarely meet. Hey girls...just a question...how long did it take your guy to tell you he loved you? How did he do it? Is close to a year too long, or is my guy just scared? (He was in a 6-year, engaged relationship right before he met me). I tell him I love him sometimes...he doesn't get weird or anything, just smiles. But I've never heard it back and it's bugging me!
