I have a four month old Japanese Chin (female) and her vet told me that she will weigh approx. 5 lbs at adulthood. She is very loving, doesn't bark, and isn't needy at all. She is the perfect pet, already potty trained and gets along great with other dogs. I keep tossing back and forth the idea of getting another pup so they can grow up together. I have a great work schedule that allows me to spend lots of time with her, but I know she misses the company of another dog. She plays with a shih-tzu occasionally and she loves him to death. They play so well together and I see how happy she is when shes with him. I'm just wondering if it's a good idea or not. If you do think it's a good idea, should I get another Japanese Chin or should I get another breed. The only breeds I'd consider would be small (7lbs and under). I like Yorkshire Terriers (very expensive though) and I like papillons. Also, since I have a female, should I get a male or another female.
