Mexico could diminish the availability of drugs much easier than the US could reduce the demand. Unfortunately, Mexico does not have the political will to do so.

kind of true,but not realistic. in an effort to control meth and crank in the US,sinus pills are now controlled,punishing the legal consumer. it did slow down production in the US,but increased production and sales for Mexico. the war on drugs is a failed venture,but was never meant to be won.

it's a simple equation. If there is demand, there is production and no matter what they will find a way to produce it, like alcohol during prohibition. If there is no demand, then there is no point in production, and yes, demand in the U.S. is HUGE

Yes and no...

People will do drugs...reagardless as to the legality of them. If they don't come from Mexico they will come from somewhere else.

Funny that those countries that has more liberal laws regarding drug use don't have the problems that we have in ours.
