Yes, there are some guys that are circumcised and need lubricant to masturbate. Usually this happens if he is cut very tightly and has no skin that allows him to stroke it easily; so the lubricant allows the hand to slide over it instead. It doesn't mean all need it though, just some.
On the other hand, a foreskin is moist inside like eyelids, hence why I've never heard of an uncircumcised guy needing lubricant for masturbation. You can still use it though.

Well, a few things I've read:
- most uncircumcised guys masturbate most of the time without lube. They just pump the foreskin back and forth over the head.
- most circumcised men use lubricant most of the time.
- i'd guess that most circumcised men certainly _can_ masturbate without lubricant, but there are exceptions. A guy who is more tightly cut might find it more difficult.
As for your situation:
- Yeah, for masturbating, its less convenient.
- Also, when you're with a female partner, she'll likely be unable to get you off with just a handjob without lube, she'd have to give you a bj. Wait, that's probably not so bad :p

Anything is normal. I don't like using a lubricant, but most of the guys who post here apparently prefer a lube. I imagine the feeling is closer to intercourse that way. Legs together, legs apart, it doesn't matter, just whatever feels good to you.

Who decides what is normal.
If you enjoy what you are doing then it is normal.
I suppose it also depends on how tight you were circumcised and if you have any skin movement left.
I would imagine that in a very tight cut you would have to use lube or get sore pretty quick.

not entirely sure that has anything to do with being circumcised... my husband seems to have no problem masturbating with his bare hand and a dirty magazine, and he is circumcised. and no i don't care that he does that, but thats an answer for a different question.
