Im looking to buy a HD projector at the end of the month to rinse my XBOX on, but have been wondering about the connectivity of the damn thing. I know the XBOX does not have HDMI, just component, however most projectors only have one video phono connection, which means no HD playback for me. Is there another way to ensure I can get HD playback from an HD projector??

Can I get HD through the VGA input?
Are there any component --> HDMI convertors?
Does the XBOX have a DVI Cable??

Any serious help would be great

thanks

An HD Ready projector should have either HDMI or Component inputs (probably both) and I think there is a plan for an HDMI cable. (There must be to support HDCP from the HD-DVD drive).

I don't know about the VGA output of the XBOX - but I would have thought it would be OK.

There isn't a Component -> HDMI converter as the Component signal is analogue and HDMI is digital, so the conversion would take time (fine for TV/DVD, not good for gaming).
