First let me say I wore the Nuva Ring about this time last year for a while and it went fine, then I went off of it completely and started the pill last June. Jan. this year I ran out of the pill and didn't get it re-filled. I decided to go back on the ring, I called my doc and she called in the ring to my pharmacist (me thinking I remembered how to wear it) I had started my period Feb. 8 and it ended on the 11th so I put in the ring on Feb. 12 and I was thinking I should wear it until I start again but I haven't yet. I was scheduled to start Mar. 8. I am worried I did it wrong. Should I have only wore it for 3 weeks, took it out for a week regardless if I started yet or not? I am so confused, I have been having sex this entire time (no extra method) I been searching Nuva Ring websites but I can't find anything. Help please. What do I do now and will I be protected? Thanks.

Am I the only one that is fed up with this? You go into *your* bank and the first thing they ask you is "are you interested in another credit card". You go into the Post Office for one stamp and: "have you heard about how we can save you money on your credit card". You go into the supermarket for a tin of beans and by the door: "sir, can I ask you if you have a credit card"...! AGH!

I can just about stomach junk mail, spam ads and the occasional cold call but I think if you go into the Post Office for a stamp, for example, the clerk shouldn't be harassing customers to take out a credit card like some sort of door-to-door salesman on commission?

Am I being old fashioned? And don't even get me on overseas call centres...

It seems that if someone is so far into denial that they'll claim to NOT be addicted to opiates after having taken them for many years, then they should be taken off them for at least a short while, so they'll be forced to go through serious withdrawals and understand that they actually ARE addicted. It's like saying that someone with a never ending supply of heroin who has been taking it everyday for five years isn't an addict because they actually wanted to take it every day.

I am drawing portraits from photographs of my friends. I make a few bucks from it too.

Friends' photos were done by a professional photographer at Sears or K-Mart or another Studio.

Do I need permission from the photographer to do portrait drawings from these photographs?

My wife and I say it several times a day, but I was curious how often other people say it. Of course we both know that we love each other, but we say it anyway. Do you say it over and over or do you just assume your spouse knows it already?

I know that wiccans and many pagans have a love for animals, plants and nature but I would be interested in hearing from any other religions as to what your beliefs are surrounding those who care for sick or formerly mistreated animals.

Does the fact that their heart goes out to such animals (mostly former pets) that were abused or neglected before being taken in to care, rather than humans, mean they are not looked upon as charitiably as a traditional philanthropist?

I am interested as I feel it is my vocation to care for all those animals who have not had a good life, as they are even less capable of looking after, and protecting themselves, than us humans.

I understand that cruelty, war, famine and violence are are a part of our world but I will not tolerate anyone raising a hand up against an animal.

I do not subscrive to any particular belief system myself but would like to know what you think.

Thanks!

If there are any career counselors or Civil Engineers that know the field very well, I was wondering if you could answer my question. I want to know how far you can take your BS without any lisences afterwards? I would assume there has to be areas in the field where the basic engineering experience can play a role in different fields than just looking at project designs.

So I guess what I'm looking for are different positions that are out there for someone with a BS in civil engineering and how to get started in them and how to find out about them.
Thanks!
