i don't get to spend time with my parents because they're mostly working.and when they're not they're sleeping because they're tired from working. i don't bother to complain because i understand that they have to work to pay the bills etc.

I'm an American now living in Holland and while I'm aware of many customs that take place amongst the Dutch, I am unaware of what is done for teachers' birthdays! My daughter is in Group 1 and her teacher's birthday is soon. The Groepmoeders are planning a surprise party for her and have sent home a note asking the children to bring a present for her.

What kind of gifts are given to teachers, especially those teaching Group 1 and 2?

I need answers ASAP because I just got the letter today and the party is on Wednesday, 14 March!!!!

The bible, both OT and NT, obviously does not like homosexuality. Romans 1:26-27, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, 1 Timothy 1:9-10, the list goes on. Modern, tolerant christians say, well, it's a sin, but no different from any other sin. They should just, you know, fight it like I do against my sins.

Do you hear what you are asking? A man and a woman in love having sex outside marriage would also be sin, but they can solve this by getting married. A man and man couple or woman and woman couple are also sinning, but they can NEVER be redeemed. No marriage for them!

So in essence you are asking them to spend their lives alone pining for love, or, I don't know, pretend they like the opposite sex and get married there (in all probability making two people very unhappy in the long run). Does this sound tolerant? It sounds cruel to me.

I work from 10:30PM-6:30AM my hubby works 8-4:30. I take our son to the babysitters in the morning when I get home from work. Then my hubby leaves(we only have one car at the moment)for work.
He wants me to work afternoons (2:30pm-10:30PM) so I can sleep with him at night and see our son in the morning. I would drop our son off at the sitters and then go to work. I would get home form work about 11:00pm. I want to spend more time with my hubby but If I go to afternoons I lose one hour time with our son. Our son is two. Should I stay on Midnights or go to afternoon shift?

This last weekend I seen up to 7 puppies that someone dropped off on my road. I live in the middle of nowhere and think it's so cruel.How can someone do this? why not drop them off at a humane society?better yet get their dog fixed.I was going to get them all but they ran away. My husband managed to get one.haha, so we are keeping him. what are your thoughts?

I have Windows XP Professional. The clock appears to have been updated ecause it shows the correct time. But all of our appointmens are showing up an hour late. Did we miss an update? Is there a way to fix this. We also have our computers networked through a server that is running Small Business Server with SQL.

Please help so that we are not late for all of our appointments!

I was at the mall yesterday with a friend and there was this guy (who was pretty hot) standing about 10 feet in front of us and I am pretty sure he was trying to show us his junk, he was wearing white workout pants and a t-shirt but we could clearly see his package through his pants. Do other girs like seeing this? It kind of turned me on.

Hi all, i work in customer service and i get the most sweetest customers at my store.
I guess you can say i'm lucky to work in a area where the nicest people shop.
I have fun with them telling jokes back in forth anything to show them i'm glad their there.
My question is i always hear customers say they wish the people who work in customer service were friendly and would smile, but when you are friendly and smile , their rude, and it's not because they're having a bad day because i see them laughing with their friends and family.
I brush it off because the 99% are soo sweet it makes up for it.
Now i'm not complaining i just want to understand better so the next time i see a customer like that i'll know or understand better to try and get a smile out of them.
I'll be going out of my way to say hope your days been well and they wont say a word like i didn't even exist even though i'm right in front of them.
Any tips would be appreciated.

Our concrete basement floor was painted and we kept flooding, we recently had drain tiles installed and would like to paint the new concrete to match the rest. Do we need to use any sort of primer before floor and porch paint? If so what kind of primer ? Thanks
