Yes, I absolutely agree with you. There's much more "meat" to be found on the radio than on tv, where more than likely you'll hear a watered-down gospel or have someone try to take your money.
There are a few exceptions in the tv category. I believe Charles Stanley and Michael Yousef are very godly men.

It all depends on what they preach on, If they can preach The One & only Doctrine of that of the Apostles as in acts 2:38-47 & don't take the 15 minutes to beg for money, then I say go for it, But if all they can do is preach 5 mintues & ask for money the other 10, then forget it. I have been to many of the TV evangelists, meetings when I first got saved in 1970. From 1970 to 1973, all I saw out of those meetings, was 15 minute talking about their beliefs, & 90 minutes asking & begging for money, I learned quick to see how wrong they were doing, God's ministers does not have to beg for money, if God sent them God will make the way.

David Jeremiah and Charles Stanley are on both the radio and television and they are both teachers of sound doctrine. But I would have to agree with you that there are other TV preachers who have valid theological/Biblical criticisms laid against them that are not found on the radio, especially on TBN which a few wags have labeled "the total blasphemy network".
If you want to check out a great radio ministry listen to Paul Sheppard - http://www.oneplace.com/ministries/enduring_truth

As a general rule I don't trust or believe T.V. preachers. The ones on the radio are better.

Simply put, there are so-called "christians" who use the Gospel for profit, most of these seem to use the TV. What you are seeing on the radio are real Christians who are doing no such thing.

I don't believe in preaching from the Bible, because the Bible is a very complicated book and can be interpreted many many different ways. Whoever reads the Bible gets a different meaning! A preacher can tell you this means this and that means that! You can read the Bible and get your own interpretation of your readings!

I find that both are commercial salesmen. How many of them will cut to the chase and tell people, Jesus is the truth the light and the way, only through him will you reach the kingdom of Heaven. You will sin, that is what he died for, but you must make you best attempt to follow the path of righteousness so that he will know you upon judgement day.

They are all conmen, who are out there to rob poor innocent people. The ones on the radio seem more sincere because you don't get to see their filthy faces.

I find nothing wrong with either....they are getting the message out and that is all that truely matters. We shouldnt judge their motives if they are on tv or not they are simple obeying what God has asked us as believers to do!
