I have to say Triquetra. It's a shame though, because the swatstika was originally the pagan/wiccan symbol of the universe/cosmos for thousands of years, until Hitler came along. He dabbled in black magic and reversed it's meaning to make it the symbol of the Nazi party. So really speaking, pagans/wiccans should be using the swatstika because that's it's original true symbolism!

I prefer the pentacle, but the triquetra is less likely to get you harrassed, if people see it, you can just tell them it's a celtic symbol, but if they see you wearing a pentacle, some folks will harrass you for it, it's not for everyone, many people hide thier pents, so on the basis that some people are more comfortable to wear the triquetra in the open, well, you have to make an appearance, before you can have an appearance, if you know what I mean?

It depends. The pentacle can be a bit intimidating but I don't think that's not a reason to wear one. You can find some very beautiful pentacles. The Triquetra is 'prettier' but I would choose the one you feel makes you more grounded and has the most meaning to you.

I'd have to say the pentacle, because it represents the four elements surmounted by spirit. I find both of them almost equally visually pleasing, but the pentacle is the more widely recognized Wiccan symbol, so it wins on that count as well as far as I'm concerned.

Personally, I prefer the triquetra. Its not as.... sharp a symbol. By that I mean that I don't like sharp angles, I like rounded ones, so I prefer the triquetra because there aren't as many sharp angles.

lol, seems ridiculous now that I think on it, but its still true.

Its depends on what your comfortable with BOTH represents Wicca, but the pentacle represents the elements EARTH;AIR;FIRE;WATER: and SPIRIT.....so IF PROUD about it wear the pentacle...if your hiding it wear the triquetta and tell everyone you are a die-hard CHARMED fan.

In any case you have to wear it and good luck in you decision!
