hi fred yesterday i had an exam and i did my best. so i am happy now. let me tell you that i am in holiday from today for a month. you know in iran we have a celebration with the name of NORUZ and in this time of year we celebrate the beggining of spring and see eachother and give presents to eachother. ok anyway i just want to know if you have comeback from tailand and did you enjoy there?ok to be honest i missed you so much. i will be happy to see your message. good luck!

Now the latest popular move , another 17.5% tax on flights, they think we are all 'global warming' freaks! and willing to give them even more tax , to do what with??.

Anthropology was my first major in college back in the stone age.

I remember reading the first article about Johansen's discovery of Lucy, and I watched with amazement as the incomplete skeleton took her place in the hominid evolutionary scheme.

That's when I changed majors. What happened to the testing?

Why do we allow a 2-dimensional representation of life color our judgments of new discoveries? (By "color" I mean to say the theory prejudices our findings.)

Is this because scientists are unable or unwilling to conduct new tests?

If all scientists agree that evolution is a reliable explanation of life, and if during peer review a new discovery caters to the theory, has the discovery ACTUALLY been peer reviewed by an unbiased, neutral body?

Me and this girl I have been dating were joking about her being my bodyguard and I told her it was just and excuse for her to keep the chics away from me so she can have me for herself. Well she played along and all but I didn't want her to think I was playing her cuz she had said before she was not seeing anyone else so I told her that I may like to take things slow but I don't have time to juggle;)

Do you think she took that the wrong way? What would you think what I said about juggling means in this context? I was trying to convey that although I don't want to rush her into anything I am not seeing anyone else either. I'm worried cuz she read the message but has not responded back and when she does that she is usually thinking about something SERIOUS. :[

Lately, I have been having severe abdominal pain in my left side, up near my ribs. I have been to the doctor about it, but so far they cant find anything wrong.

I have also been expierencing numbness in my toes/feet, and my legs have a slightly purple-ish tint to them that just started to show, but I didnt mention that stuff to my doctor.

Should I tell my doctor about the numbness, and purple legs?
What could be wrong?

My husband works a lot. I really love him and he is my best friend, but when he is home for extended periods of time, he messes up the routine.
Please don't get me wrong--we are a happy family, but I enjoy that I can spend time and energy on my son and do things for myself--I also love taking care of my husband, but sometimes, ..I'm just ready for him to get back to work--it sounds so mean--
I think absence does make the heart grow fonder.

Some years ago, a friend of mine turned to alcohol in the wake of an emotional break-up. For two years solid he downed 2 large bottles of vodka a day, and subsequently was diagnosed with 'Peripheral-Neuropathy.' (ie it has deadened the nerve-endings in his feet and he can't feel them at all, and this condition is irreversible.)
Oddly enough, his liver-function tests came back as normal!
His GP got him off the vodka and said, 'If you're gonna have a drink, make it a couple of beers as it's less harmful!'
He sees it as a green light to down 6 cans of beer every night which, by my calculation, is around 80 units of alcohol a week.
Can anyone advise me as to what damage he's still doing to his liver/nerve endings? (The vodka thing and liver tests were 6 years ago.) Thank you.
