I love them they have no chance of winning a general election no matter what the opposition do!! Yipeeeee

No! Waste of space. Labour is best.

Ok, Labour have pretty much ballsed up a LOT of things. And I am vehemently against ID cards.

But a lot of the problems they inherited (the NHS and Welfare State, Education) were as a result of 2 decades of Tory rule - Thatcherism is to blame for the 'uncaring society' we live in today in Britain. She developed a brilliant (faultless if you analyse it) policy of opening up capitalism to the common man, ie EVERYONE can be a self-made millionaire if you have the gumption, and basically taught us all to look out for number 1 before and after anyone else.

The effects of Thatcher have ruined what made Britain a great multicultural, thriving society. I'm not saying Labour are entirely blameless, but let's face it, the rich getting richer while the poor are getting poorer started with Thatcherism and the Labour party have (to their credit, though unsuccessfully) tried to improve the standard of living for the lower social spectrum.

The problem is they're so caught up in accountability, you need at least 3 bits of paper to be processed before anything can happen. Madness!

Labour is more right than left and now all those who used to vote Labour don't know where to put their vote - do they vote Labour in the hope of still keeping the Tories out (lest we forget) or do they vote some other way because it's more leftwing?

If the Tories get back in we may as well kiss goodbye to the last remnants of civilised society we have left.

I'm sorry to say I don't share your optimism that they won't get back in, because Labour voters just don't know who to vote for anymore. But here's hoping!

All political parties p**s in the same pot ... doesn't matter who takes charge at the next election - this country has crashed and burned!!! I'm not gonna waste my petrol going to the polling station for the next election ...... in fact, I wouldn't be surprised if Blair & Brown came up with the great money - spinning idea to charge people to vote. 10 million people paying a fiver each will pay for another 7000 illegal immigrants for another year to bleed us dry!!!

Apologies for going slightly away from the original topic there.

If Labour are stupid enough to push through this charge by the mile for road use, then there is a very good chance that the Conservative party will get elected next time.

I would if Osborne was leader, not namby pampy Cameron. Pity Cameron doesn't take on the invading PC brigade. Mercer was only saying what really goes on in the forces, no offence, just the way it is.

I think Cameron should join the labour party. His politcal correct knee-jerking and craven support for higher taxes shows that he would be right at home with that bunch of lunatics.

vote UKIP.

They have just lost my vote, especially after the tv programme saying that global warming was a myth, another reason to tax us all to revolution.

I vote on the principle of who is the least worst. At the moment that looks like the Tories.
The problem is that anybody who is honest and intelligent, and has comon sense would stay well out of politics.

I wouldn't say I loved them, But labour is wrecking this country, Blair is a puppet operated by George Bush. Bring back Maggie! Or at least somebody like that, as the Torys will not get back in unless they field a strong charismatic leader.

well id rather have them running my country then having the ignorance of the labour party and having to look at tony blair as a role model..You laugh at such expense of the conservative party but at least if they were elected they would stop letting in the blooming immigrants and stopping parents who have a football team just so they get free housing and money and sit on thier bums all day drinking beer and smoking weed! and taking the mick whilst the working class slave day to day paying for these numptys
