My Japanese Chin is 16 weeks old and is very comfortable at home. She roams around by herself, is pottytrained, and knows where her food and toys are. However, when I take her to my boyfriends house or out the my apt period, she is timid. She is very friendly with strangers that come over my apartment and other dogs as well. However, she doesn't really like riding in the car, walking on a lease, or being taken out of her comfort zone. I want to break this habit to make her a better socialized pup that I can take everywhere with me and her still be happy. What are some things I can do with her to make her more comfortable outside my apt and what is the best way to teach a small dog to walk on a leash (harness). She is 2.7 lbs, a very small chin. Unfortunatley, Im not pregnant. Even though i had almost every symptom, my period finally came on. Now im basically on the "it happens when it happens" Thing. Anyways, I know this is a stupid question but no one has ever told me about any of this stuff. I've seen a few posts talking about the different "CD" levels and checking the Basel Temperature and charting and all of that good stuff. Is that supposed to help? Which ones are the good ones to get and where would you get it? Were any of you successful when using it??

I have a gateway laptop that is pretty much being scrapped for parts, and I was able to remove the flat panel lcd monitor. I was wondering, can they be used away from the laptop for anything at all? Like, is there an adapter of sorts that I can hook a VGA plug up to, or any way to use it as a second monitor for either a laptop or desktop? Or a way to rig it, so that it will? If I thought someone might buy it individually, I would put it on ebay. I mean, its just sitting here, and I hate to waste things...

P. S.- If by any chance, someone needs any gateway parts (besides the HD, and DVD rom, I claimed that!!) just email me. It is a Gateway Solo 1450

I have a great idea for American Idol. I would love to see them allow the public vote to send someone home a couple of weeks instead of voting for your favorite. Say the week that there are 10 people left and the week that there are 5 people left, America calls in and votes to send (let's say Sanjaya or Antonella) home. There are so many people who stay around in this contest that don't deserve to be there because everyone is voting for their favorite. This hurts people that are talented, but don't have much of a fan base. Who thinks this is a good idea?

we adopted a cat(shes fixed) and she meows all night.she was in our room and she was meowing so we put her out and she kept doing it!! Help its driving us crazy and also she scratches alot.Like just moving heer paws with claws out.if ur petting her she does it or if shes purring or if shes on fabric.we were going to get her declawed but is there an easy way.Okay shes meowing now bc im not in there!!!!ASAP HELP
