when a guy is interested in you, what qualities make the best first impression on you? Assuming that you don't start going out right away, what qualities do you think will make you want to go out with him? Do you want the guy to show that he is interested in you the first time that he meets you or what?

a guy has to make me laugh and I have to feel comfortable around him. I also like a man that is a gentleman. Just be yourself not putting on airs. If you act like your self then you will find the right girl.

Humor is a must! A person who is uplifting about life. Good hygeine, positive attitude, and someone with a stable emotions. I prefer not to know a guy is interested too soon. Too much too soon can scare girls off (making you look desperate) but too little to late makes you seem cold. I would wait at least 3-6 months before "I love you's," and heavy compliments, etc. Overall, just someone who is genuine attracts a girl...if she's not attracted, she's not the right girl for you.

No, I wouldn't want him to show that he has a true interest in me. I mean, don't act like you don't like me or enjoy my presence. Just be kinda distant with the affectionate stuff. If I were just getting acquainted with someone, I wouldn't want them to just come out and say, "I am starting to really like you", and that was on our first date. I would then think, dang, he must be desperate and can't get a date or something. What is wrong with this guy? And I would automatically be less attracted to him.

yes definetly, i like a guy that is honest fun and has a good sense of humor it doesnt hurt to be pretty either but you can have the prettiest face in the world and still be the ugliest if you are dumb a guy has to have a good personality and mixed feelings are the worst we hate when we cant tell how a guy feels its frustrating and makes you come of as cocky like you are too good for anyone. Guys that are themselves and dont try to flash their good qualities right in our faces are unbelievebly sexy. Just be cool but dont lie, and try to get in our pants, some of us are dumb but a majority of us get what you guys are trying to pull.

confidence (not cocky), having ambition, sense of humor, maturity. def show interest in the girl but dont be psycho crazy about it lol and put forth an effort into getting to know her and her interests. Actually listen to her dont just stare. Id go out with a guy who shows interest in me, doesnt have to like everything I do but understands that I am allowed to have my own interests, has confidence in himself and shows that he has dreams

a guy cant start liking everything the girl likes. they have to have their own opinions and do their own thing. they also need to smile, and just b happy like around the girl. it would b nice if guys showed that he was interested in me pretty early on, so as not to keep me guessing!

Yes he should show interest, but not with his tongue hanging out or eyes bulging out around the chest area. He should be polite, gentlemanly in an almost old-fashioned way, fashionable attired, and have excellent hygiene.

Confidence! Not arrogance!!...reasonably honest(no one really wants TOTAL honesty on EVERY issue lol)....Not pushy...mild flirting is OK...So is a good sense of humor....just try not to come off as some kind of nut case....too needy....too possesive....etc...oh yeah and can't be too self involved...having a well rounded personality is crucial...I don't need someone to "complete me" I am already complete...I need someone who will make a good partner to build a life with.
I can't tell you how others feel...this is just my personal opinion...I sure hope it helps....good luck

I would hope that he's trying to get to know me as a person, not as a piece of meat.
I like to know that he's listening to and is capable of understanding what I say in response to the questions he's asking as a means to get to know me.
He should have good manners, too.

I like guys who are sweet, who can make me laugh, who are honest, carrer driven, and family oriented. He doesn't have to show he's interested the FIRST time, but soon would be nice.
