I would have to say the gorilla. I worked at a zoo for 4 yrs. and I have seen the strength of both animals up close. A gorilla has OVERWHELMING strength, and while a black bear has claws, the gorilla has the "element of surprise" (being as fast and witty as they are).

A Gorilla it's more Larger and I Saw many black bears and they're not that Large ( My Thoughts ).

the gorilla would outsmart the bear ,but they are not usually agressive ,he would hit the bear over the head with a pole and the bear will run.
he is probably also stronger.
