As a presidential hopeful, should I go for harsher punishments for people who leak CIA information?

The real crime here was BushCo's unrelenting effort to slime and discredit anyone who questioned their policy. This arrogant, self-centered and short-sighted thinking has divided America and will have negative consequences for decades to come.

Only if they fail to lead you to the crack that caused the leak and the hammer that caused the crack. If they are the crack that leaked, and the hammer that caused it.....it stops there, If not ....you must find the crack and plug it, then remove the hammer from the hand of the original perp. Depends. If you are talking about a covert opeartive in a foreign country, yes. If you are talking about a non covert employee, who uses her position to get her politically motivated husband on a fact finding mission and then claim the Vice President sent him, where he lies about the results of the mission so blantantly that even the Senate intelligence committee can see through it, then it's not a problem.
