I have been reading a lot about convection ovens (range style) and am considering buying one. I have read all the good things like faster cooking times and lower temperatures and am wondering if there are any negatives. I have never used one before. Are they worth the extra money to buy one?

I had an early ultrasound (5 weeks, 6 days), and the Ultrasound tech clearly saw the yolk sac, but could not see the baby. She said, your baby is not there. It may never develop. I asked if it could possibly be just too small to see. She said, maybe, but wait and see. Those words really dampened my excitement about the pregnancy. My doctor was not as doom-and-gloom as the ultrasound tech was, but I was so afraid to get my hopes up.
Finally, I had another ultrasound at 10 1/2 weeks and was so relieved to instantly see the baby - arms and legs a flailing! Had I known that the inconclusive result of the first ultrasound was even a possibility, I would've declined to have it! All that worry over nothing!

I'm just curious how many people have had a doctor, nurse, or other medical staff tell you that something seems to be wrong with your baby.... and they turned out to be wrong?

A friend of mine is on the wrestling team. He likes to throw wrestling holds on me and challenge me to get out of them. But I'm kind of skinny and don't know how to wrestle so I always lose this contest. Him and his other friends always horse around like this, so i don't want to seem like a wimp or a crybaby.
He's tall and wide and has muscles, but he drinks a lot of beer and eats like a pig, so he's got a pretty good "spare tire" at his midsection.
I've learned some taekwondo techniques and next time he tries to wrestle me, I want to surprise him with a punch in the stomach and maybe a good swift kick in the butt. He's a good guy most of the time, so I don't want to really hurt him, just cut him down to size a little.

A man is on an island and finds and old dusty lamp...he rubs it to clean off the dust and out pops a genie....
"I am the genie of the lamp," says the genie "I will grant you three wishes, and three only, no wishing for more wishes, but know this, what ever you wish for your ex-wife gets twice as much!"

So the first wish, he wishes for a billion dollars and the genie folds his arms, bows his head and blinks his eyes at the same time and the man has a billion dollars. Then the genie tells him that his
ex-wife also has got money but she has two billion.

I was at a pitching clinic yesterday... and today my pitching shoulder hurts really bad.. to the point were if I move it hup alittle it hurts a lot. I noticed when I tryed to get up that it hurt bad.it hurts on my shoulder going up to my neck.. I can move my head but not my soulder... What do I do? I have a sling and wraps and creams... What do I do?

I just recently had the intake gasket on an Escalade replaced; I went to get the fuel injectors cleaned and heard a knock. I had just had the oil changed two days ago. As my car was running the fuel injector cleaner through...the knock seemed to get worse and before I knew it...the engine had stopped. Okay...so should (or can I) rebuild the motor that's in their with a rebuild kit? Or should I just find another motor?
Mind you, before the intake gasket installation, the car had sat up for about a year. The reason it sat up was because it ran hot and I drove it about 2-3 more miles to get to the house...hey, I have to be honest to get a correct diagnoses.

Yesterday morning I went to the ER for wisdom tooth pain, a nerve is exposed and my pain is through the roof. I was given 800mg ibuprofen. I was happy that I was going to get some pain relief. I took the Ibuprofen and nothing, for the rest of the day my tooth pain was cutting right through the IB.

I called the hospital and asked for a script of something stronger or even Tylenol 3. and was told that the Ibuprofen that was perscribed was enough to handle the pain. BUT IT WASN'T.

So what is the deal, did the hospitals adopt a blanket mentality that everyone is an addict. I'm sure my expirence is not unique and there are probably more people that walk out of ER rooms not having their pain managed correctly.

Everywhere I check, I find that a discarged bankruptcy will not come off of a credit report for ten years. Is this rule set in stone? Is it a law? Can it come off the credit report for any reason earlier than ten years?

He's as tame as he'll ever be, I hand-fed him and ever since he's been able to bite he attacks my hands with full force even though he always wants to be close to them. In the spring he sings to them...and tries to do "other" things to them. It's wierd. Is it possible that he thinks he's a hand? I know they're territorial and aren't nice to other grossbeaks. I've tried hosing my hands down with bitter apple and he must like the way that stuff tastes or something. Any suggestions?
