You may want to see a doctor if it's really very painful.
Put ice on it in 10 minuet intervels, on for 10 off for 10. but make sure to put something between your skin and the ice pack.
you could also try a warm shower to loosen your muscles up and try and stretch it out a bit slowly.
Next time you should stretch alot more before doing something like tha.t do alot of warm up through out the day. the better prepared you are for it the less likley that you will hurt yourself during it.

Quit trying to pick things up with it. Use it very sparingly and give it time to heal. A heating pad should help it heal quicker. In the future, be sure to stretch your muscles and warm up slowly before going full steam. This applys to legs and other muscles too.

Yes! I think we need to do a P&S shoulder rub chain. Alternate guy - girl - guy girl and just rub each others shoulders better for about 15 min or so. Who's bringing the massage oil?

Ice it and take ibuprofen as directed on the bottle. It will allevaite the inflammation and reduce pain. Don't move it any more than you need to and see your doctor.
Sounds like you overdid it, dude.
