we had a friend's brother's marriage a few days back. Her brother is a well off person earning well. All thought of giving few thousand rupees in cash. Nobody bothered of really going out and buy a real gift. They think its good for the receiver because he can spend money his own way and can buy a thing which he think is useful for him.

Are we not materializing every thing in life.

I have an old computer and my husband did something to make the monitor go completely black. I am not sure if the hard drive still works or not, we bought a new computer. Should I try to sell it or just dispose of it? If so how do I remove all of my info before someone else gets it? I am not really good with computers, so easy to understand terms would be appreciated.

I have this small light red bump on my upper lip that I think is a cold sore. I've had it since yesterday and I'm FREAKING OUT. It doesn't hurt or anything, but when I touch it, it feels SLIGHTLY pressured. I'm like totally embarassed and I've tried putting ice on it so it could swell down. We have a boxer dog she is 2 yrs old and adores us as we adore her and we go out or put her outside she jumps an 8 ft fence also she hasnt lost her playfulness as a pup and greets anything or anyone by leaping on them and we are talking anything that has a heart beat. Things have changed with work and stuff and she is left at home alone more often but we really dont want to give her up or tie her up.

A group of girlfriends is on vacation when they see a 5-story hotel with a sign that reads: "For Women Only." Since they are without their boyfriends and husbands, they decide to go in.

The bouncer, a very attractive guy, explains to them how it works. "We have 5 floors. Go up floor by floor, and once you find what you are looking for, you can stay there. It's easy to decide since each floor has a sign telling you what's inside."

So they start going up and on the first floor the sign reads: "All the men on this floor are short and plain." The friends laugh and without hesitation move on to the next floor.

The sign on the second floor reads: "All the men here are short and handsome." Still, this isn't good enough, so the friends continue on up.

They reach the third floor and the sign reads: "All the men here are tall and plain."

They still want to do better, and so, knowing there are still two floors left, they continued on up.

On the fourth floor, the sign is perfect: "All the men here are tall and handsome." The women get all excited and are going in when they realize that there is still one floor left. Wondering what they are missing, they head on up to the fifth floor.

There they find a sign that reads: "There are no men here. This floor was built only to prove that there is no way to please a woman."

I have only been driving a few weeks,
I was just driving down a residential road and It had a speed camera,
It was 30 mph zone and I was just doing slightly over at 32 mph.
I wasn't being a boy racer, I'm just getting to grips with driving and a new car.
