I think the highest perfection of man (as a race) will be when man achieves a true global consciousness...where every man/woman/child in the world shares the same thoughts and truly know themselves and each other.
At that point, wars end, miscommunication ends, distrust ends, suffering becomes unacceptable, so equality becomes meaningful, poverty ends, and man becomes a new race (man is not man anymore) and the planet as a self-aware entity continues towards a new level of perfection.

God made man in his likeness, so being transformed by the renewing of your mind to Christs, is to be becoming perfect, no-one ever becomes perfect on this earth, but to abide in Christ is I believe, as many other Christians do is the highest 'high in life you can get, to be at one with God, to Love & know His Love .......has to be the closest to perfection, no matter whether they are a 2 day old born again Christian or a 20 year old,
God is Love
Love hides a multitude of sins
this is to achieve the highest perfection a man can do! - to be one with Christ

The highest perfection of man/woman is the moment they learn to accept and admit their own mistakes, then make that ability part of their character.

I believe the highest perfection of Man is when he is content with everything happening as it happens. Nothing can phase him, nor disrupt his serenity and peace, he may have to react to a situation, but no matter how severe, (loss of a loved one, limb, job??) he does not see it a stumbling block, but as another chapter in life..and just goes with it!

Self-actualization. Everyone has different ideas of perfection.
However, I think you're talking about the human race in general. So I'm gonna say... to discover lifes purpose and to live in peace and harmony.

We're biological robots who can reproduce themselves. I believe we have the power to re program our DNA because we have self-consciousness.
So the possibilities are endless.
